HOW TO REACH THE OBSERVATORY

In the evening, the Col Drusciè Astronomical Observatory can only be reached by foot, in a 20-minutes walk from Piè Tofana - reachable by car (https://g.page/baitapietofana).

In the morning the Col Drusciè Astronomical Observatory can be reached by foot, in a 20-minutes walk from Piè Tofana, or by the Tofana - Freccia nel Cielo cable car. During the the ski season it is NOT possibie to reach the observatory by foot in the morning.

A torch to illuminate the road (during the night) and shoes suitable for walking on mountain trails are required. In winter the road from Piè Tofana to the Observatory is covered with snow. Note that the observatory is located at 1800 m a.s.l. and it could be cold.
