Visits for the public
Groups and schools can request a visit to the Col Drusciè Astronomical Observatory on additional dates also, in the morning (to observe the Sun) or in the night (to observe the night sky): request a visit for a group, request a visit for s school.
OPENING FOR THE OBSERVATION OF THE THE PLANET SATURN AND THE MOON
On Saturday December 7th 2024 the Col Drusciè astronomical observatory will be open to the public from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm for telescope observation of Saturn (the most beautiful planet of the Solar System) and the Moon.
The observatory can be reached on foot in a 20-minute walk on a wide, uphill snowy road from the Piè Tofana car park (directions here). Follow the flags and light signals. A torch and trekking boots are recommended.
Entrance fee €5 per person, free entry for children up to 6 years.
It is possible to access the observatory during opening hours, without reservation.
